CONSULTANCY SERVICES

We want the fabricators learn how to unload containers. We provide consultancy services based on this fact. We teach different types of unloading as well as equipments required and the techniques you are supposed to know. We have unloaded hundreds of containers on the field and we exactly know what you are supposed to do to unload a container safely.

There are basically (2) types of container unloading.

Onground Container Unloading

This type of unloading reqires a very heavy duty forklift with at least 15,000 lb capacity and 72″ fork length.

You unload the first line of bundles as regularly. When the first row is over cut woods of the second line touching the sidewalls of the container. You should not cut more that 4″ that touches the wall to minimize the risk of tipping over. Then you put the chains to all the bundles and pull them to the with your forklift. Then you start unloading as you have done in the begining.

Unloading from the Duck Station

This time you need a smaller forklift that can enter into the container. The maximum heigt should be 72″.

The forklift should at least 7,000lbs capacity with side shift and fork open and close functionality.

The forks again should be at least 56″ long.

You first cut the woods leaving the front one un-cut. Put the 4″straps under the bundle and hang it to the forks. Secure the bundle with sequizing the slabs. Make sure te stones don’t scratched. Then cut the rear wood holding the bundle. Lift the front for couple inches from the ground and pull it to the outside. Make sure the bundle does not tip over. Now with a second forklift with at least 12,000 lbs capacity put 4″ straps from each side, lift the bundle, cut the remaing woods and move the bundle wherever you want.
