Erkan Karakaya

Erkan Karakaya was born in Turkey and completed his higher education there. He stayed in India for over 14 years, during which time he owned several natural stone companies and managed operations from the quarry to the export of containers. Together with his brother, he successfully conducted their stone business, achieving a record of exporting 3,200 containers in 2016 from Vietnam within just 9 months. This achievement remains unmatched even by the largest companies in the stone industry, all sourcing from a single location. Due to extensive travels to Central Asian countries, he has developed a vast business network and fostered strong relationships with business owners. Having spent 5 years in the US, he is proficient in English, Turkish, and Hindi. Currently, he is a partner at The Stone Outlet.

Dr. Haluk Ongoren

Dr. Haluk Ongoren graduated from Bosphorus University in 1999 and worked in reputable banks for 15+ years. He was the head of IT Strategy and Governance of IT in his last position in the bank. He has been in the US since 2016 and he is one of the co-founders in StoneX USA one of the biggest stone suppliers in Wisconsin. He acted as the CEO of the company for 7 years and he managed all the import, sales, and warehouse operations as well as establishment of the company, getting the permits, setting up the organization model and information technologies required to serve to its customers, He is a lifelong learner and acts as an Adjunct Professor at Washington University of Science and Technology.
